Nic`s Grill in Oklahoma City

Great place, but hope you have time to wait, since the place only fits a few people. But worth the wait!

Eating at Nic's is a special experience. Limited seating, small menu, and the food is prepared right in front of you. The burger is cooked to perfection, perfectly messy, and completely delicious. Fries weren't amazing by any means, but that's not what you're going there for. Make sure you get the burger with "cheese and everything." Definitely worth stopping by for what is most likely OKC's best burger.

Burgers were decent. Not what we expected from the reviews but we were starving as this was the first stop from airport. The guy with the dreads had exceptional customer service. The place is very tiny, maybe 14 seats so luckily we had perfect timing with short wait. This is definitely a dive joint but worth atleast a try when visiting OKC.

10/10 would recommend. best customer service I’ve ever had and the BURGER speaks for itself. just come, ignore the long wait reviews and limited seating etc.. it’s something you need to just come experience

Nic's Grill is by far the best burger I have ever had! This small restaurant situated just north of Bricktown OKC is a MUST go to if visiting, recently moved or have lived in the area for some time. The fact that they are only open 3 or so hours a days should tell you how good this place is. After watching Guy Fieri from Food Networks Dinners, Drive In's and Dives visit Nick's Grille, I knew it must be a special place. After reading a the raving reviews and accolades they have accumulated I knew I had to go lol. You might have to wait a second for your food, but it is worth the wait! The burger is amazing, the fries are some of the best I've ever had and better than that, they kind and treat you like family. With a small staff, they work extremely hard to welcome people, get their orders and keep them happy while waiting for their food. Make sure to tip them. They do an amazing job!

A burger is a burger right? No Nic's is something altogether different. The beef is laid on the grill in a ball fresh and cooked to perfection, a big thick juicy burger. They are cooked and built right in front of you when you order. Grilled onion, thick sliced bacon, jalapenos, and mushrooms all to your taste. Three different kinds of cheese to choose from. The fries are pulled from a box that they were freshly cut into. This place is the mecca of hamburgers! I have eaten burgers all over the US and this is hands down the best burger I have ever bought in a restaurant.

Passing throug Oklahoma City on our way to Los Angeles California and stopped at this burger joint. The best greasy, 100% all beef giant cheeseburger with grilled onions. And the skinny curly fries. Cash only and worth every penny!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. One-of-a-kind experience for the best burger you may ever have. But, this is for the N. Penn location only. Seating for only about 20 people, and 1 man on the grill. Very composite menu, as long as you only want a burger and fries, because there are no other options. Nic’s learned that if you do one thing perfectly, you don’t have to offer anything else.

This is a great place to eat. Get there early or be in line clear down the block. The burgers are worth the weight. Very good stuff. Once inside you will find a copy place and speedy service. I have no complaints. I do recommend getting the grilled onions and jalapenos on your burger. It is very tasty. I'm here on travel for work and may not get the opportunity to eat here again. Again it's a great place that was even featured on dinners and dives.

Best burger in OKC!! You may have to stand in line and it's cash only, but I'd gladly visit an atm and wait 30 minutes just to get seated in Nic's. I have never had to wait longer than 10 minutes to get a seat, but I'd be ok waiting for 30. The menu is small, pretty much the burger, curly fries, and whatever special for the day. The burger is a massive onion burger packed with flavor. The fries are classic curly fries that are fried to perfection and, especially once you add the Creole seasoning that is offered at the table, super delicious. I definitely eat my crumbs in Nic's!

The downstairs speakeasy you have been wanting to find! Nic! The Czar of hamburgers has a perfect lounge! Blaine and Lauren are awesome bartenders, attentive and knowledgeable. They know their craft. The food goes without saying since it's heritage is Nic's. If you have had it. You know. If you haven't. Try it.

First time eating here with a friend... fresh ground beef and grilled onions. Worth the price. Next time I'll make sure to say well done on my burger, it was slightly undercooked by 2mins for my liking. But it was still able to enjoy it. Just would like more mayonnaise on it also. We both said we would return again. ☺️👍🏾

The wait is long but the atmosphere is great, very polite and a great burger made anyway you want

Gluten Free Score: 0/5 but who cares!Nic’s is unapologetically simple. They do one thing and do it better than anyone.This is an incredible local burger joint. The seating is extremely limited (16 seats total) so if you arrive after 10:45, expect a wait, but it’s well worth it! They make the burgers fresh right in front of you, the options are simple, Everything Burger, Everything Burger with Cheese, or the daily special (today it was chicken fried steak). The French fries are absolutely fantastic curly fries that are perfectly thin and crispy. They use shredded lettuce on the burgers and have the usual add-on offerings (mushrooms, bacon, etc).This is a great place to bring tourists or family from out of town.

Absolutely amazing. No need to keep preaching to the choir about how good it is. If you haven't gone, you are missing out, plain and simple.

Nic's is a fantastic burger place. I am not able to eat the fries but the burgr alone will have you saying "what fries?". I have seen and believe the line around the block for this place. It's like an Oklahoma staple to have a Nic's burger.

Nic's Grill is amazing. There is a reason why this place always has a long line and there are people who come from other places to eat here. The burgers have a really nice home made feel to them and they are seasoned very well. The people there are super friendly and courteous. This place is not the biggest you will see but it is definitely an experience. It is cash only. The atmosphere is a great one to have a nice lunch.

Hands down, one of the top five burgers of our lives! It’s a tiny little diner, so we’re glad we showed up at 1045am, as it got very crowded by 1115am and people had to wait for seating. The two guys behind the counter were so nice, friendly, and helpful. And the burger, omg, amazing! This is a “must do before you die” experience. 🤤 And we got a bag of their beef jerky to go.

This places cooks a good burger. One of the best I’ve had in OKC. It’s a little pricey, but it’s worth it. Burgers are huge and juicy. Cool little place. Service was great too. This place will make you never want to have McDonald’s or those other chains.

*cash only* One of the best burgers I’ve ever had! Nic himself worked the grill and his associate worked the counter. 16 seats in total. Been in business for over 20 years. A local favorite and it couldn’t be better.

So after all the good comments about this place, some friends and I decided to go. It was going to be my first time. We got there about 10:45 since they were supposed to open at 11, we wanted to beat the rush. We waited until 11:20 and the doors were still closed. They probably have good burgers but they definitely don't know the definition of "Responsibility". If you are a business and you are supposed to open at 11, well just open at 11. We end up going to Tucker's and that was a good call 'cause #Tucker's never disappoint and they open on time.

Big, fat, juicy burger with great fries! Delicious! Obviously, Nic's is a small place and can be tough finding a place to sit during peak lunch hour. I believe the wait is worth it. Be sure to bring cash, because they don't do cards. In case you forget, there's an ATM at the store across the street.

This isn't the same Nic's that I'm used to. Been awhile but it's completely different.Giant thick patties with huge chunks of onions. Undercooked fries. And they cut the burgers in half. What happened here? Where is Nic?

Over-rated and over crowded restaurant with a food that taste mediocre. You also need to know this place is Cash Only, and they do not give receipts. I prefer Tucker's over this place.

Great spot for burgers! One of the best in the country, be ready for a long wait! Definitely worth it... Nic is super friendly and talented on the grill! This place is cash only and their combos cost about 12/13 dollars per person... The daily specials are interesting, you should try the fried steak with mashed potatoes. The restaurant has a limited capacity, so this is not a great spot for groups. They also accept orders to go.

A great choice for getting traditional American foods. Huge collections of burgers that may attract burger lovers for sure. Those look amazingly delicious. Customers recommend this restaurant online. Cheese Burger, Curly Fries, Spicy Grilled Chicken are very special here.

Absolute best burger in OKC, if not Oklahoma. The quality, top to bottom, is excellent. Every thing is fresh, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere, though small, is inviting. Do not confuse this with Nic's Place. This is his original location and has far better quality food.

An OKC landmark!! I’ve never been disappointed at Nic’s! One of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten. Sure it’s a cramped space and the line is long...but I assure you it’s worth the wait! Everything on the menu is great! Pro-tip; the jalapeños are spicy, even for someone who likes spicy food and be ready to order when you make it to the front because the people behind you are as hungry as you! Enjoy, I know I did!
